October garden update

I thought it might be fun to look back at the garden's progress over the summer...

It's almost put away for the year --
not a minute too soon, as you can see how the sun has shifted,
and meteorologists are predicting a snow/rain mix tomorrow --
just three tomato plants moved into the greenhouse,
a bit of kohlrabi, some beets, chard and lettuce are left.
I'm canning tomatoes and freezing soups,
grateful for the opportunity to grow a garden.
We'll be enjoying our produce well into next year,
and start all over again!
